Engaging with others

We are enthusiastic participants in a number of events sponsored by partners. Recently we have helped provide projects for the Nuffield Bursary Scheme – students from local schools spend four weeks with us.

We support fundraising events such as the Cancer Research UK Race for Life held annually in Oxford's University Parks.

The Medical Research Council (MRC) celebrated its 100th birthday during 2013. The Department took part in in these celebrations putting on a display in central Oxford on 22 June 2013 and evening events during the subsequent week.

We have collaborated with the British Science Association to deliver SciBar events and with Science Oxford to deliver Cafe Scientifique events.
