We are pleased to announce that this year the Postdoc Away Day will take place on Friday 12th May 2017 at the Oxford Martin School (Broad Street).

We have an inspiring line-up of speakers this year, starting with the keynote talk that will be given by Professor Katja Simon, Professor of Immunology at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology. The programme will also include sessions on careers within and outside academia.

You are invite to submit your abstract by email to postdocs@oncology.ox.ac.uk.

Deadline for abstract submission is Friday 21st April

Prizes will be given for the:

  • Best abstract
  • Best oral presentation
  • Best poster presentation

Finally, the Postdoc Away Day is a free event and needless to say, it is also a great opportunity to network with other Postdocs within the Department.

The event will be immediately followed by a social gathering at The Lighthouse (Park End Street) in the evening.
