Oxfordshire Science Festival - signalling progress in cancer research

Over two weekends in June and July the Department of Oncology went out and about in Oxford as part of Oxfordshire Science Festival and visited Broad Street in the centre of Oxford and Templar Square in Cowley.  Interactive stories were shared with members of the public on how cells decide when to divide and how this can go wrong.  Using work from Andy Ryan’s group we asked how this division could be stopped, how a cell might resist our treatment and whether we could anticipate and stop resistance.
